Preparing the 2nd BTI bioinformatic course

January 21, 2013 Leave a comment

We are preparing the 2nd BTI bioinformatic course. We still have a lot of things to talk, and suggestions are always welcome.
Two ideas:
1) April/May as proposed dates.
2) Focus the course in the knowledge and skills to perform a RNAseq analysis and SNP processing, so we are going to try to reinforce the Linux and the R classes, leaving Perl and SQL for other courses. Also we are thinking to highlight the RNAseq statistical analysis (differential expression) and the data exploratory tools (clustering, GO analysis).

We hope see you here soon.
